Photography Tuition is a one to one (or 2 or 3 if you want to bring friends) photography skills course tailored to your requirements.  No matter what photography skills you have now the course will be designed around your aims and interests and move you on to the next level at your pace.

The course is suitable for beginners and enthusiasts and anyone wanting to improve their photography skills - basically anyone with an interest in photography and who owns a camera. It’s particularly suitable for people new to photography or changing from film to digital photography or those who need to learn quickly for their work or a particular assignment.

People with special needs are most welcome.

Expert advice and encouragement will be given by a working professional photographer whose approach is to keep it simple and get it right, in the camera. The aim is to produce photographs that are virtually ready for printing and do not need manipulating in Photoshop.

The emphasis is on learning by doing. As much time as possible is spent on location taking photographs.

Photography Tuition is based in the famous book town of Hay-on-Wye on the border of England and Wales. The choice of locations is incredibly varied – plenty of opportunity for photographers with an interest in landscapes, natural history, ancient monuments and the countryside in general. 

Apart from learning new photography skills you will experience a great day out exploring the region with a highly experienced professional photographer with a passion for the area.
